Finally I got to experience the latest attraction in Luxembourg City: the Pfaffenthal Lift. It took seven years to built and was inaugurated last month. I had seen many photos and videos on social media about it and at last I took the time to check it out.
The construction itself is very plain and simple but it is super convenient to get from the city centre down to the valley and vice versa (Luxembourg City is built on a rock). From Pescatore Park you cross bridge and when you get to the end, the lift and a panoramic platform await you. The lift takes about twenty seconds to go down. Once you're in the valley, you can go for a drink, walk around the picturesque area or catch the lift to go back up.
