Sweet lux life

Another very busy week has gone by and I haven't had much time to blog... So what have I been up to? At the beginning of the the week I have been taking it quite slow because I was still exhausted from the eventful preceding weekend.
It's ironic that when I am least preoccupied with meeting anyone/dating, I find myself with the most opportunities and offers. Must sound very modest, I know, haha.
On Tuesday I could have met a former interest for dinner. On Thursday I did go for a drink with someone I met on Tinder. On Friday, I could have gone out with someone I had a crush on at first sight. On Saturday another former flame contacted me out of the blue. I am now curious what next week holds!
My friend K celebrated her 37th birthday by hosting a Saturday morning brunch. I was shamelessly late by one hour because I had not expected it to be a sit-down event.

I hope that my gift, cakepops and cupcakes, made up for my late arrival! Once more my colleague Ana was behind these delicious creations.

As I may have announced before, I will be travelling to Stockholm next month. K brought me this kitchen sponge/towel from her recent trip to Sweden.

She also brought me this flyer for an art exhibition that I will definitely check out when there.

In the afternoon I attended the Luxembourg bloggers' monthly meeting. This time we gathered at Chocolate House. It was really nice to meet Yannick, a vlogger, and welcome him to the group. I have watched his videos on YouTube and they are incredibly hilarious! He takes the p*ss out of Luxembourgers and in some of his parodies, I recognize myself. In particular, the one where you see him on the phone, sobbing and shouting "but I want Mercedes!"

According to some blogger friends, I come across as quite serious via my blog and apparently in real life I am more 'fun'. Hmmm...

Still being stuffed with the cup-pop-cakes, I couldn't bring myself to order any food. The cakes at Choc House looked really good though.
While I really liked the setting, the sweet food, and I was very thankful that they let us reserve a table, which is not granted to every guest :) , I have to say that the place was a bit loud and too busy. I would have to return on a more quiet day, possibly during the week.

  23. Wow what a week you had! I find the same thing, when you search for something it's never there and when you're not looking, everything comes at you at once. Oh well, make the most of it while it's there I suppose. Good luck for this week though, I'm sure it's going to continue being eventful
