Brasserie Zédel (London Day 2)

Yesterday I met a former boyfriend for lunch. It had been his idea to meet at Brasserie Zédel on Piccadilly.
Brasserie Zédel reopened in 2013 after it had been restored to its original 1930s art deco design.
A café, a cocktail bar, a cabaret and the brasserie are part of the location.
When I arrived, I felt like I had stepped out of a time machine.
The Brasserie is just spectacular. You have to see it for yourself as the photos cannot really translate the amazing experience you will have.
I ordered two starters instead of a main course: salmon tartare...
... and a beetroot, mâche and goat cheese salad.
I added some healthy carbs with these frites.
For dessert I had the lemon tart.

A visit to Brasserie Zédel is really recommended. The food was superb, as well as the service.

  7. You are right, it's like steeping back in time and there are so many design features to admire not to mention the food which looks so appetising. Lemon tart is a dessert I often select. I haven't heard of this brasserie before. One to remember!
