That's so awesome!!Is your work media related? xo, Janehttp://www.fitfabfunmom.com
Congratulations, Anouka! Your column was again super interesting to me! If I have to be honest I have exactly this image in my head of Luxembourg. Of course, not palaces and castles but what's wrong with that if a country is small and rich in the same time? Anyway, nice job, I like it a lot!
Oh, I always thought you lived in a castle with many waiters!:P Just joking dear, I know your point. I think that convinction came from media and ignorance. I neither know that quote about Finland and neither would have thought it was that rich. Happy weekend you too, kisses! xo
this is amazing achievement! congrats!very nice blog by the way :)kisses from Russia,JulietRUSSIAN DOLL
Congrats on your publication! It's such an interesting post!! I've never really thought about how people live in Luxembourg :Dhttp://love-your-ego.blogspot.de
Great read Annouka! We get this a lot in England too.Hugs xoxohttp://www.intotheblonde.com/
This is awesome! Congrats :)xoxoNovelstyle
I have to live with these prejudices as well! In Germany my co-students make fun of me because we get so much "Bourse" from CEDIES. In fact my parent's aren't rich at all because my dad is a farmer xDxx
Congrats on the article. It's funny, I think people who have friends or family there know this, so they would not think that! But, a lot of people always make assumptions about where you're from or the location of where you live. http://fashiontalesblog.com
Pleased to see that you have another great article published. It's true that people make assumptions without having ever visited a place. I visited Luxembourg just for the day when I was a teenager and we were heading to Italy by car. I would like to see more of this lovely country some time.
Congrats darling! Awesome article and love your point of view! People like to assume, unfortunately as well as liking to pretend! Keep them coming! xoxo ESwww.liveyourpassion.gr
Great ! Congratulations !
Well done! That's great. A beautifully written article too!
I really enjoyed this article! That is pretty unprofessional of the server to say that. Luxembourg looks like a fairytale city to me. I hope to visit someday :)
I like your topic on this issue. The other way around is being originally from the Philippines, everyone outside the country--if they've heard of it--thinks that all Filipinos are hired domestic help and everyone's poor. That's not true of course, but I can't blame anyone with that impression as that's what highlighted about us on the international news. As you do, I'm also insulted when I pay for anything abroad and I'm told that whatever amount I'm paying for won't burn a whole in my pocket. Agree with your points in your column. You said everything succintly. Have a good week :)
