You may remember that I wasn't very happy with the place I stayed at in London in November. For my most recent trip I was looking for an affordable, clean and central hotel where I could happily stay for six nights. As I had had a very good experience at the CitizenM hotel in Amsterdam last summer, I chose them for London too.
The London room was more nicely arranged than the one in Amsterdam.
I really like to lead a minimalist lifestyle and this room perfectly met my needs.
It was the first time that I got to use a tablet to control the temperature, the automatic curtains, music, movies, radio, alarm clock and the mood light (choose and blend different colours). And of course I could use it to browse the Internet.
The mood light was set to pink in the bathroom photo above.
Having different type of plugs is also very useful, especially if you have forgotten to bring your adaptor.Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to take more photos of the lobby which felt like a cosy living room.
I would certainly recommend this hotel. The location is very convenient as it is between Southwark and London Bridge.

This hotel looks pretty nice and cosy! Thanks for sharing!

OOh this is really great! Definitely going to keep this hotel in mind for when we visit. So is Citizen M a european hotel chain? I like it's minimalist design and attention to detail. Every hotel needs to have these diffferent power plugs as part of it's basic room setup.
