Here some demystification about the name of the restaurant.
ReplyDeleteThe place/area and Tennis Club have always been known as 'Schéiss' or (the french equivalent) Arquebusiers.
So the name refers to a former training area for gunners ...
Pronounciation is different to the german/luxembourgish word referred, but I can see the ressemblance.
I agree with the former comments: Very nice restaurant!
