You have lived an hour and a half away from such a beautiful town..and never been? ITS BEAUTIFUL .. its breathtaking!! The architecture is like things i've only ever seen in books. Wow! It's amazing when you find such beautiful places so close to home...those gates are stunning! You really are very fortunate...I have been to Europe but barely "scratched the surface" in all there is to see...and I love these tinier places that nobody really visits because they head straight to the big cities. Beautiful photos. p.s. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the internet did transmit smell...it will have to happen one day, surely :)

Beautiful, to be honest with you I never left Paris since I moved here, well looks like I will be packing up myself and stride straight to Nancy!
Perhaps worth the trip if combined with a stop in Metz which is another beautiful place.
